| This is the cover (no photo!) of a catalogue I shot in Paris in 2000 for the (very)French artist Jaques Carelman to accompany a major travelling exhibition of his work in Italy. Beginning in Milan,it has since been seen in most large cities from Sicily to Padua.It was a lot of work.Over 200 "objet inutile" (useless objects!) shot in 10 days.Although it may look like it was shot in a nice studio,the whole thing was done in the warehouse where the works were stored!Each piece carefully removed from it's packing case,imortalized and then repacked.All shot with the same bashed up nikon I used to shoot reportage with. It was freezing cold too! |
